Responsibilities
- Guide, train and drive junior quality assurance team members to deliver the team testing together
- Manage delivery timeline and progress with release manager and product owners
- Design test scenarios and translate them into JBehave. Coverage include UI, functional, error scenarios, security baseline and negative cases.
- Review test scenarios with Product Owner to ensure completeness of signoff requirement
- Review & Tag cases to the respective meta tagging for future reusability and east of assess across markets
- Update test cases into the different sprint cycle in Zephyr against the planned sprint drop for productivity and progress tracking
- Automate and maintain automatable test cases for both in-sprint and regression
- Prepare test data requirements for fulfilment with the different sub-systems
- Execute test cases and upload test artifacts, defect management to ensure timely retest and closure with RCA
- Support test management daily report, participate in daily stand-up, defects, demo, retrospective, sprint grooming and related clarification ceremonies
- Track downtime, maintain regression pack to add delta and eliminate NA cases
- Prepare training materials to share product and service knowledge
- Support live implementation and post production issues from investigation, testing and deployment of fixes
- Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in web and mobile application testing in the banking industry is preferred.
- Strong analytic skills to process complex requirement to come up with end to end scenarios and test cases
- Familiar with Agile and waterfall methodology, and understand the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing
- Have experience in running or being part of an agile project team in banking industry and have had hands on experience on JBehave
- Understanding Java and VB Scripting will be an advantage
- Experience with Quality assurance processes and tools like JIRA and confluence is a must
- Good stakeholder engagement skills with strong verbal and written communication is required as will need to collaborate closely across multiple teams during project execution
- Good team player with strong organizational skills and can work independently with minimum guidance
- Must have resilience and the ability to work well under pressure with minimum guidance
- Quick learner, adaptable to changes on project needs and good team player who take initiative to help team to complete assigned task
- Strong working knowledge of SDLC practices and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects
