Ministry of Crab is not just a restaurant; it's a sanctuary for crab aficionados. Our menu is dedicated to showcasing the finest and freshest crab dishes, prepared with expert skill and culinary finesse. From succulent crab curry to mouthwatering chili crab, every dish is a testament to our commitment to quality and flavor.


Responsibilities

· Design and execute creative, seasonal menus that showcase crab and prawn dishes, ensuring variety and innovation.

· Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every dish.

· Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

· Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and best practices.

· Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.

· Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and an exceptional dining experience for guests.

· Stay current with culinary trends and techniques, continuously exploring new ways to enhance our menu and guest experience.


Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in high-volume kitchens, with at least 2 years in an executive or head chef role, preferably in seafood or crab-focused restaurants.

· Extensive knowledge of crab preparation and seafood cookery, along with a passion for experimenting with flavors and culinary techniques.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse kitchen team.

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.

· Proven track record of managing food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.

· Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is required.
