Job Description:
The Director mainly needs to organize and oversee all daily operations of Hang Yick iTrading. He/She will be the one to ensure the company business is well-coordinated, productive, efficient and profitable by using his/her knowledge as well as experience to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success. He/She should act as a proactive leader to ensure that all company departments are operated in accordance with the company goals. Furthermore, the Director is also expected to manage customer demands and expectations in the current fast-changing product markets. The overall customer experience of our new and existing products must be clearly understood for getting some room for further improvement. Order/sales support and marketing strategies have become his/her key roles in our company. In addition, the Director is responsible for the strategic development of procurement, planning, product quality, supplier management and logistics to maximize value for money and enable business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Report regularly to all existing shareholders in our company directly. To proactively implement feasible changes, best values and quality improvements within the teams and departments by challenging existing practices and actively seek the ways to achieve better outcomes, contributing to ensure key performances and financial targets are met. Take immediate corrective actions where necessary. His/Her goal is to fulfill the targets and expectations established by our company shareholders.
2) Lead our company to ensure that all financial figures are aligned with our annual goals.
3) Manage customer enquiry/feedback/complaint/return, provide marketing/order/sales/logistic/inventory support as well as handle supply chains especially in China. Foresee and solve all possible problems affecting our businesses.
4) Ensure that new/replacement orders are imported and shipped to our customers in a timely manner. Solve all issues resulting in order delay.
5) Develop and monitor all essential KPIs. Conduct all possible analysis based on all current scenarios, information and data to drive continuous improvement in business, costs, products, operations, quality, productivity, services, support and overall customer experience/satisfaction. Advocate for any change that improves customer experience and company profit. Make sure that our company is being run effectively and efficiently.
6) Partner closely with all company departments to establish clear responsibilities and processes that maximize customer experience and operational excellence. Monitor whether their work has deviated from our company goals and objectives. Correct and improve quickly if the troubles are found.
7) Partner closely with Sales & Marketing teams to support new and ongoing sales/marketing campaigns. Source for new potential customers. In the meantime, maintain loyalty and relationship with all existing customers.
8) Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across all functional areas of responsibility.
9) Lead and motivate staff and ensure that they receive appropriate support, training and development to achieve their potential.
10) Responsible for managing all customer interaction channels: voice, email, chat, social media, website, online shop, sms, whatsapp, wechat, social media, community support, etc.
11) Facilitate development of relationship with existing and potential new suppliers especially in China. Understand the suppliers' capability and capacity in providing all up-to-date products which our customers expect. Plan and manage the company's supply portfolio and sourcing strategy, negotiate with suppliers in achieving long term benefit in terms of quality, cost and delivery.
12) Analyze what are the most favorite products in the market, establish feasible actions for how to engage our products in this market as large as possible. Besides, he/she should clearly understand all subsequent processes and productions in our customers, so he/she can provide the most suitable products to meet their requirements. He/She can also quickly help with any production issues in our customers while using our products or services.
13) Tackle and solve any technical or quality issue for our product which serves as an obstacle to our business. (e.g. customer complaints or returns due to product quality, clarifications for product specifications and technical details, product tests, laboratory reports and so on from all suppliers especially in China)
14) Pay attention to the up-to-date product market trend and technology to introduce any new potential product to our company in time with the fast-changing market and customer demand. Source and work with all potential suppliers to import such up-to-date products.
15) Accept any assignment as requested by any shareholder of our company.
16) Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by immediate reporting.
Job Requirements:
1) Holder of Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering. MBA holders are an advantage.
2) Six Sigma Black Belt is highly desired for achieving operational excellence and cost effectiveness in our company.
3) 10-year or more working experiences at managerial level in customer services, operations and quality for electronic products. Preferably having working experience in manufacturing, mechanical or electronic industries. A good understanding of all product manufacturing processes and quality is an asset as he/she can know more about suppliers and get more benefits while negotiating product prices and terms with them. Rich experience in customer service ensures he/she can handle different and difficult customer expectations.
4) Understanding of the processes and productions in our customers like SMT, PCBA, in-circuit tests, functional tests, reliability tests, etc. are highly preferred.
5) Most of our suppliers are in Guangdong China. Therefore, it is an advantage that he/she had stayed in Guangdong China and worked for manufacturing or trading companies in there for at least 10 years. He/She should have a strong network and relationship with most suppliers there as well as be familiar with their capability and capacity to provide the right products for which our customers expect. It helps us to select, manage and negotiate with our suppliers effectively and efficiently.
6) Technology knowledge, especially in mobiles/computers/electronics is strongly desired. He/She should keep learning about new technology and product.
7) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8) Strong communication and presentation skills.
9) Strong project management skills: including planning, scheduling, prioritization, implementation, action items tracking, and project communication.
10) Ability to work with global customers, teams or parties across multiple cultures. A good command of spoken and written English is a must to ensure effective and better communication. Most of our suppliers are in China so he/she is expected as a native Chinese/Mandarin to deal and negotiate with all Chinese suppliers easily.
11) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize work and focus on generating business results.
12) Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment with extremely demanding on technology and product knowledge.
13) Attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities.
14) Ability to prioritize tasks on hands, superior time management skills.
15) Ability to communicate corporate targets and goals to different levels of employees, ensure they understand and take actions to achieve goals.
16) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
17) Inspire team members toward a culture of customer centricity and continuous improvement. Strong leadership skills are expected.

20) Experience with sourcing new suppliers is highly preferred
21) Be an extensive expertise, has been operating at a strategic level with a strong track record of success in delivering financial savings.

23) Ability to work well at all levels of the organization (in customers, manufacturers, governments, manufacturers, etc.).
24) Ability to engage, motivate and convey key messages precisely and concisely to customers and all shareholders (internal and external).
