Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead kitchen operations. As the primary authority in our facilities, you will craft and oversee dishes before they reach customers, ensuring exceptional quality and satisfaction.

Note: This position is available for an Indian Senior Head Chef with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in North Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee the food preparation process and related activities.
Develop menus featuring both new and existing culinary creations, maintaining variety and excellence in dishes.
Inspect and refine dishes before they are served to customers.
Plan equipment and ingredient orders based on identified shortages.
Coordinate repairs as needed for kitchen equipment.
Address and resolve any issues or imperfections in dishes.
Take full responsibility for hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff.
Supervise the work of subordinates, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Estimate workload and compensation for staff members.
Maintain accurate records of payroll and attendance.
Ensure compliance with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.
Cultivate a positive and respectful work environment among kitchen staff.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience as a Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine.
Demonstrated ability in kitchen management with a track record of excellence.
Skill in delegation and progress monitoring within a kitchen setting.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Stay updated with culinary trends and optimize kitchen processes accordingly.
Proficiency in relevant computer programs such as MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
Certification in health and safety training.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef, specifically in Indian cuisine, and at least 8 years in positions related to Indian food preparation in past roles.
