The Prompt Engineer will work closely with our AI, development, and product teams to craft, test, and refine prompts to drive our generative AI models. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of language, context, and how advanced AI models like GPT (or equivalent) operate. As a Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality prompts for our chatbot and content generative AI systems. This involves designing and testing prompts to ensure that they are effective at generating accurate and relevant responses for users.

Description
  • Prompt Development: Craft high-quality prompts to guide generative AI models in producing desired outputs.
  • Model Training: Collaborate with AI researchers to train models, iteratively refining prompts to improve outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Test and measure the effectiveness of various prompts, ensuring model responses are accurate, appropriate, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside content creators, developers, and UX designers to ensure the AI's responses are coherent and contextually relevant.
  • Content Customization: Develop tailored prompts to cater to niche markets, industries, or specific customer requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in NLP, chatbot development, and AI trends to continually refine and innovate our approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of prompt strategies, outcomes, and iterations for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience applying prompt engineering or conversational engineering to real business problems.
  • Proven experience with AI-driven chatbots or generative content models, preferably GPT-like architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in programming/scripting, preferably in Python.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms and tools, such as OpenAI's platform, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field with 3+ years experience.
  • Experience with various AI models and platforms beyond GPT.
  • Prior experience in a cross-functional team, collaborating with researchers, developers, and product teams.
