RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with various sales and marketing functions to drive business growth.
  • Handle day-to-day enquiries received through the SMU Academy's hotline and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Demonstrate a hunter mentality for sales and closing, acquiring and expanding the customer base (both individuals and corporates) through approaches such as cold calling, networking, social media, and emails.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing support, information, and advice on our courses.
  • Handle both in-bound and out-bound customer enquiries professionally and promptly. Resolve customer feedback and issues, escalating them to senior management if necessary.
  • Manage and minimize class cancellations, ensuring a minimum sign-up of 10 participants for each module.
  • Identify marketing channels for programs, strategic partnerships, and events.
  • Assist with the development of customer relationship journeys for both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Understand competitors' offerings and analyze market demand for both existing and new programs.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all written materials, ensuring they are free from errors and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with business presentation to B2B clients.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisation.
  • Able to work in fast-paced and self-directed environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Good understanding of marketing via various digital platforms.
  • Possess good level of written, communication and interpersonal skills.
