Roles & Responsibilities

The Application Engineer (AE) supports the sales channels in product selection, technical specification, pricing and Industry solution. He / She ensures timeliness and accuracy of support to meet customer needs. He/ She works with sales channels to develop industry knowledge and application details to position differentiated valve solution. The AE collaborates with other pillars of the Sales Development and Support (SD&S) organization and Business Unit to meet or exceed customer and sales channel expectations.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

· Provide timely and accurate application, quotation and technical support to the sales channels.

· Work with sales channels to develop industry situation knowledge and application know-how required in providing the optimum valve solution.

· Support sales channel in review of customer technical specifications.

· Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings when required.

· Work closely with Project Pursuit and Region group to design quote and pricing strategies that maximize orders and customer satisfaction.

· Support product, application, and sales tools training to sales channels.

· Coordinate and participate in the industry's marketing needs - trade shows, seminars, forums, and technical paper presentations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

· Focused on learning the products, and technical details about control valve sizing and selection.

· Follow Industry developments, new trends, and associated control valve opportunities.

· Look for opportunities to participate and win Control Valve orders.

· Implement the technical knowledge to optimize the product selection.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

· Degree in Engineering (Mechanical I Chemical I Electrical I Instrumentation I Automation). Candidates with 1~3 years of sales and application experience are preferred.

· Knowledge in the process of Industry standards and control valves.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
