Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Working closely with multiple teams (Engineering, Security, Operations & Development teams) to maintain, deploy and operate containerized solutions
  • Work with computer engineers to integrate software systems
  • Hold hands on role that consists of administrating Mirantis(Former Docker Enterprise) based Kubernetes cluster, containerizing apps
  • Spreading the usage of containers in the company through automation and coaching
  • Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud.
  • Managing Kubernetes platform
  • Automating the provisioning of environments
  • Troubleshooting incidents / problems
  • Thriving for continuous improvement of the production environment
  • Redesigning legacy applications for container implementation
  • Assist on DR, BCP exercise and patching cycles

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 7+ years of overall experience in IT Production
  • 2 years hands-on experience as Kubernetes engineer
  • Container image life cycle management (test, patch, deploy)
  • Network topologies & container networking
  • Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms
  • Container storage management
  • Automation using helm charts
  • Monitoring using Dynatrace
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform or Ansible
  • Good background in Linux / Unix Administration
  • A working understanding of Python or Perl or Shell
  • Experience on RedhatOpenShift platform
  • Experience in developing cloud native applications and/or Certified Kubernetes Developer certification
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis Administration
