Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

The UAE Embassy in Singapore is seeking a professional Hospitality Staff to provide exceptional service for embassy operations and official events.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks to the embassy staff, guests and visitors.


• Attending the needs of the Diplomats, preparing beverages according to the Diplomat's preference.


• Keep the kitchen and buffet with their tools, plates and utensils … etc. cleaned and maintained.


• Define the Mission's needs of quality materials and utensils required for hospitality, and coordinate with the line manager over purchasing such items.


• To assist with basic office duties such as photocopying, filing and assisting superior's upon their demand.


• Preparing and setting up conference room in event of meetings/workshops.


• Ensure the implementation of plans and policies regarding the security and confidentiality of information, application and use of technology in internal processes and procedures in the Embassy.


• Serve food and provide hospitality services in events held by the Mission within or outside the mission or the accommodation of the head of Mission.


• Observe the dressing code and maintain good grooming and personal hygiene. Use disinfectants and apply the health regulations.


• Any work added to the job description tasks as required by the general interest of the Embassy and as mandated by supervisors.

Administrative responsibilities


• Commitment in the implementation of the instructions from the Embassy


• Respectful cooperation with all members of the mission


• Decent and presentable appearance


• Good and respectable behavior


• Ensuring operational performance indicators and reporting section


• Follow the instructions and orders of the Head of mission and supervising Head of Section

Qualifications & Requirements


• Fluent in English Language. (Proficient in Arabic Language is plus)


• Proven working experience in hospitality and similar roles.


• well-presented and demonstrate excellent hygiene standards at all times.


• good communication skills both written and verbal, hospitality skills.


• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.


• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

Employment Conditions


• Position Type:Full-time


• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday


• Probation Period: 3-6 months


• Security Clearance & Medical Check: Required
