Finance Admin and Controller

Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:
- Prepare and issue client invoices based on project milestones, service agreements, and contracts.
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of billing, receipts, and customer account reconciliations.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Coordinate and prepare annual and project-based budgets with input from project and operations teams.
- Monitor budgets against actual performance, providing variance analysis and recommendations for cost control.
- Assist management in financial planning and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
Salary Processing & Payroll Administration:
- Calculate and process employee salaries, including deductions, taxes, and benefits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations.
- Handle statutory filings related to payroll (e.g., social security, income tax, employee benefits).
Finance Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain and organize financial records, contracts, and administrative documents.
- Ensure financial operations comply with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and working with auditors when required.
Operational Support:
- Manage vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Support the finance team with cash flow monitoring and expense control.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or administration, preferably in an IT services or professional services environment.
- Strong experience in client invoicing, payroll processing, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Xero and Excel.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations, payroll compliance, and statutory filings.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
- Experience working with IT service companies or project-based billing models.
- Familiarity with project costing and time-tracking tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
