In this role, you areresponsible for technical support and analytics for the Regionincluding documenting long term portfolio strategies, expansionplans, and consolidated planning for new site selection and theexpansion of existing sites. The Location Strategy and SiteSelection Technical Program Manager (TPM) develops relationshipswith peers in partner organizations, and global functions, ensuringRegional planning and execution is consistent with the standardsand protocols set globally. Responsibilities include integratingCloud and ML/AI planning, as well as energy strategy across new andexisting data center campuses, and supporting agreements onexisting or futuredevelopments.
Qualifications
Jobresponsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery of all data centerlocation strategy and site selection work in APAC, includingworking with a cross functional team of Strategic Negotiators,Public Affairs Managers, Energy Negotiators, Markets/regulatoryNegotiators.
- Support and validate thetechnical and analytical frameworks and business cases for overallportfolio management for existing data centers sites and relatedinfrastructure.
- Develop and maintain the longterm Plans and managing the articulation of the associated plansfor each sub region or metro area.
- Developlocalised portfolio analysis with partner teams to aid inarticulating specific detailed metro plans.
- Represent the organization's core priorities withRegional leadership and other cross-functional teams and leads, andexternal parties.
Minimumqualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Policy,Finance, Real Estate, Technology, Engineering, or equivalentpractical experience.
- 5 years of experience inprogram management.
- 5 years of experiencebuilding and executing asset or product strategies in the contextof the APACRegion.
Preferredqualifications
- Experience in collocation agreements, site selection forindustrial-scale projects, real estate evaluation, acquisition,development, construction, utility agreements management, energychallenges, implementing clean energy initiatives, or financialmodeling.
- Experience in power transmission anddistribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data centertechnology, industrial class electrical and cooling technology, orother related areas.
- Experience in economicdevelopment policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development,agreement drafting, and presentation development.
- Experience with real estate markets and establishinginfrastructure in markets.
