Our client is a leader in business intelligence and analytics, offering trusted SaaS solutions that help organizations improve efficiency, uncover insights, and drive growth. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join their sales team in the ASEAN region. As a BDR, you will play a key role in expanding their SaaS business by identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential enterprise clients, generating new opportunities, and building lasting relationships with decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and prospect new business opportunities among enterprise clients across the ASEAN region. Develop and execute strategies for lead generation through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Sales Qualification: Qualify leads through a thorough discovery process to understand the prospect's needs and pain points, ensuring they align with solution offerings.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, accurately tracking activity and forecasting potential deals.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the Sales and Account Executive teams to transition qualified leads into opportunities for the sales cycle.
- Market Intelligence: Continuously analyze and report on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adapt your approach and drive success in the region.
- Relationship Building: Develop relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, to ensure successful engagements and long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure messaging alignment and support marketing campaigns. Regularly report on progress, wins, and challenges to management.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role within a SaaS company.
- Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven track record of prospecting and managing relationships with enterprise-level clients, preferably within the software or technology industry.
- Proven Success in Sales: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the ASEAN market, business intelligence, and analytics trends, as well as the needs of large enterprises.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions to a range of audiences.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-driven environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in additional ASEAN languages is a plus for internal & external communications and engagement
