Global Finance and Operations Manager

We are looking to hire a highly organised and driven finance and operations professional to join our vibrant start up, based in Singapore. The role will provide Finance and Operations leadership across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, and Australia reporting into our Chief Operating Officer.
This is a permanent position.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Supporting the COO with end-to-end delivery across the financial and central operational needs of the organisation globally.
- Financial planning and reporting.
- Finance and supply chain including Tax, periodic reporting (including statutory) , business reporting, receivables and payables, banking, and execution of payroll.
- First point of contact for Finance queries from employees
- Engagement with staff on meeting deadlines on operational and financial matters
- Engagement with external clients for invoicing and payments
- Oversee in maintenance of ISO 9001 management system(s)
What We Look For
- Your will have 10+ years in a management accounting and or finance operations role
- Ideally you will have experience at a start up or consultancy based business
- Strong Financial Literacy and Delivery focus
- Possess a deep sense of ownership and accountability with an eye for detail
- Resourceful self-starter with initiative and ability to work very independently
- Ability to identify and solve problems and create new processes
- Multi-tasker with strong organisational skills
- Strong solution focused approach, with an emphasis on driving best practice and the tenacity to embed change to improve Alumni's operations approach
- Customer service focus
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Relevant qualifications such as Bachelors in Accounting, CPA etc
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office applications, Xero (or equivalent payroll software)
