Product Development Manager

Job responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the product road map for our mobile crane line in the Singapore market, in alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market trends, and translate these insights into actionable product specifications.
3. Work with engineering teams to define product specifications to ensure that the mobile cranes we offer meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
4. Lead the product launch process, including developing marketing plans, sales collateral, and training materials to support product introductions.
5. Analyze sales data and customer feedback in order to identify areas for improvement and growth in product performance and market trends.
6. Develop and execute effective sales strategies in collaboration with the sales team, providing them with the necessary tools and product knowledge.
7. Manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
8. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry associations, and regulatory bodies in order to stay abreast of industry developments and market trends.
9. Provide product training and support to internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, in order to increase their understanding and ability to effectively promote and support mobile cranes.
10. Identify new opportunities for product development and differentiation by monitoring and analyzing industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.
Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in product management, preferably in the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry.
3. Strong knowledge of the mobile crane market including customer needs, industry dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
4. Proven track record of successful product management, from development to completion.
