Roles & Responsibilities
  • Participating in the drawing review and provide the constructive suggestion to the Design team, and keep follow up.
  • Mainly supervise the Electrical and Instrument installation and commissioning work on site.
  • Prepare the ITP related to own discipline field, review and validate the method statement from contractors.
  • Conduct and record the regular quality inspection and checking onsite based on the approved ITPs and drawings, and report on non-compliance.
  • Receive, inspect and hand-over E&C equipment and materials to contractors.
  • HSES Leadership essentials & Act QHSE commitment, animate and coordinate HSE activities, attend the Safety meeting, safety walk, safetytalk, HSE minute & toolbox talk, have the authority to notify any contractor to immediately suspend its work or part of its work if the hazard in questionconstitutes a serious and immediate threat to the safety of persons or property;
  • Perform safety control, and delivery safety events report,(PSSE, DA&DC),BSV, ACT implementation, request and implement the safe work permit
  • Update and maintain project site documentation in his discipline, propose evolution to codes and standards related to construction works.
  • Collect, check and report actual work data from contractors in order to establish progress report, and report to site manager, analyze and verify the quantities and productivity from contractors on the extra work.
  • Participate to handover activities with the acceptance of works and related punch lists;
  • Have the authority to request quality controls compliance with ITP and testpack, to check and inspect witnesses, approve or reject work or part ofwork.
  • Participate to CCI activities with the acceptance of works and related punchlists.
  • GDSR & EIS & PID checking
  • Well manage and control the LOTO and Energization activities for the E&I part.
  • Discipline capitalization for the completed projects (Before demobilization) with constructive information & experience shared for the input of next project.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in E&I engineering or above.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in E&I (experience in HV/MV/LVelectrical installation and energization systems, Instrumentation wiring andTubing, analysis and control system installation, supporting ofpre-commissioning and commissioning activities) for the TCN or chemicalconstruction
  • Familiar with Singapore regulation for the requirements of the Electrical and instrument part.
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards applied on the project and required in the field for installation and testing purposes.
  • Local Electrical certificate if the local regulation required
  • Good organization and coordination skills, capacity of independent working.
  • Positive attitude and strong sense of team spirit under site manager leadership
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, also willing to work in night shift if needed.
  • Candidate must be willing to work 6 days a week.
