Roles & Responsibilities

OBJECTIVES:

This role will support the Business Strategy function for Hilleman Laboratories, by ensuring that business procedure is aligned with overall Hilleman's vision and goals, and is efficiently optimized. The incumbent will support on key corporate planning and strategic initiatives, development of processes and framework for performance and portfolio management, and relevant projects. This role will also assist on communications efforts such as developing, expanding, and maintaining of Hilleman's communication tactics, content, channels and driving communication campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of strategic/corporate planning activities, such as the annual planning cycle.
  • Support for company performance management and reporting such as consolidating KPI reports, and timely review of targets.
  • Assist in documentation of company's business processes and procedures for corporate governance.
  • Assist in meetings with external partners for a deeper understanding of partner needs and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Support the coordination, implementation, and improvement of strategic initiatives such as training programmes and relevant projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain portfolio database of all projects/programmes, with a focus on tracking timelines, progress, and key milestones.
  • Assist with internal and external communications efforts to produce communication campaigns and creative assets for professional social media pages and quarterly newsletters including but not limited to slides, briefing documents, infographics, articles, and other visual/video assets.
  • Manage and moderate the relevant professional social media pages and official company webpage, in conjunction with the communications stakeholders.
  • Cost centre support for Business Operations.
  • Organise and support internal events, as well as assist in employee engagement activities.
  • Facilitate and support other company-wide external events as required from a planning, logistics and implementation perspective.
  • Monitor the external environment for insights and news that is relevant for the company, including desk research to identify trends and themes of interest.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or Bioengineering fields, or in Communications/Business/Marketing field with a specialised interest in health and biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project, Teams); familiarity with Photoshop/Illustrator or Canva, experience with video editing software is a bonus
  • Up to date on latest business productivity tools, and highly adaptable to new and improved ways of working which are more robust and efficient.
  • Effective communicator; must be able to liaise with various stakeholders independently, and has excellent command of written and verbal English; able to write clearly with an audience-centric mindset.
  • Equipped with a flexible can-do mindset and willing to develop new skills to take on new challenges
  • Able to handle pressure and a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-starter, driven and passionate about delivering on a powerful and purposeful mission in vaccines and global health
