Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales platforms, enhancing the customer experience, and implementing effective e-commerce strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, digital marketing, and a passion for the life-science industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Online Marketplace:

· Ensure all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.

· Monitor and analyze site performance, sales trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.

Digital Marketing:

· Communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that drives traffic and conversions.

Product Management:

· Optimize how products are managed on the marketplace to drive greater revenue

· Develop and implement various pricing, inventory and marketing strategies to drive marketplace transactions

Customer Experience:

· Enhance the user experience on our e-commerce platform by ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and enjoyable shopping journey.

· Implement A/B testing and other usability improvements to optimize the customer journey.

· Conduct user testing to optimize customer experience

Data Analysis and Reporting:

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives.

· Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in the life-science or related industry.

· Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, SEM, email marketing).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Familiarity with the life-science industry and its products is a plus.
