Roles & Responsibilities

Looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive on a 6-month contract basis. This role will primarily support the Accounts Payable team for the day-to-day operational functions as well as support the finance system implementation process, ensuring smooth integration and functioning of the new system while maintaining accurate financial records and reports.


Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily activities like recording of invoices and ensure that supporting documents are provided in compliance to company’s policy and procedures.
  2. Perform reconciliations like shipping journals, vendor's SOA, bank and credit card reconciliations and payment forecast.
  3. Assist to record staff claims and ensure payments are made timely per payment cycle calendar.
  4. Assist in preparation of vendors’ payments on timely basis.
  5. Support the system implementation process including report generation.
  6. Perform user system testing and activities as assigned.
  7. Any ad-hoc assignments and projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to commit for minimum of 6 months duration.
  • Relevant accounting qualification such as ACCA or Diploma in Accounting is preferred but strong bookkeeping / Accounts Payable skills is a must
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience with financial systems or ERP software (e.g., Navision, Oracle NetSuite & Concur) is highly preferred.
  • Proactive, meticulous, fast learner and ability to adapt to changes in environment quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, strong knowledge on Excel is a PLUS.
  • Immediate available preferred.
