About Digital Industry Singapore (DISG)
The Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) office is a joint office comprising officers from EDB, ESG and IMDA to oversee Singapore’s efforts to build up its technology ecosystem. DISG drives job creation, capability building, enterprise development and internationalization across key local and international digital enterprises.

The official title for this role will be Senior Manager or Assistant Vice President.

[What you will be working on]
You will work on designing programs and interventions across tech and non-tech companies which will catalyse growth for Singapore based corporates through the use of AI, including but not limited to the following: 

  • Anchor leading AI teams in Singapore that will drive outsized impact to Singapore and the relevant industries.

  • Collaborate with Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and relevant sector leads (other Ministries and Agencies) to design, formulate and determine the modality of the Sectorial AI Centers of Excellence (COEs) in the identified priority domains.

  • To bring onboard leading private sector corporations, public sector partners/stakeholders and ecosystem partners to execute on frontier use cases which require AI expertise and resources.

  • To enable the use of AI within leading companies through the identification and structuring of projects to secure “win-win” outcomes for leading companies, that will lead to increasing Singapore’s competitiveness. 

  • Create an environment that will enable disruptors and moonshot use cases which will attract the attention of the world’s top AI creators.

[What we are looking for]
To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience; experience in technology sector, account management, business development, strategy development, and public sector experience would be advantageous

  • Keen interest in the digital industry with a strong desire to understand technological trends that influence the industry

  • Strong conceptual & analytical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging stakeholders

  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a team player

  • Singaporean
