Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Automic Workload Automation (AWA) software.
  • Customize AWA solutions to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and implement automated workflows, jobs, and schedules.
  • Design efficient and effective automation workflows.
  • Optimize existing workflows to improve performance and reliability.
  • Monitor the performance and health of the AWA environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job failures, performance bottlenecks, and system errors.
  • Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWA processes, configurations, and workflows.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and team members.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be an advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Automic AWA Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Experience with workload automation tools and platforms, particularly Automic Workload Automation.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Automic Workload Automation, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of job scheduling, workflow automation, and batch processing.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
