About Human Resources Division - Talent Attraction
The Talent Attraction (TA) team is instrumental in driving branding, selection and sourcing strategies that position and promote EDB as an employer of choice, and developing organisational competence in assessment and selection frameworks. It plays an integral role in building a strong pipeline and securing capable talent that are critical to EDB’s continued success.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to take part in the discussion of employer branding strategies and to drive the implementation of the employer branding efforts. This includes the management of our social media platforms (i.e. @edbcareers on Instagram), content creation and curation, employer branding research, employee advocacy, as well as events and campaigns management.

[What you will be working on]

As our intern, you will be required to/your deliverables are:
• Designing collaterals for employee recruitment and campus outreach events
• Assisting in the organising and execution of events
• Social media monitoring/listening and reporting
• Ground sensing within and outside of EDB
• Social media content creation and performance monitoring
• Creation and optimization of copy for content campaigns across all platforms
• Researching and identifying story ideas, including interviewing internal stakeholders for features
• Taking on photography and videography responsibilities for events or interview features
• Conducting landscape research of other organisations’ employer branding efforts and talent programme offerings
• Collaborating closely with the rest of the HR team, Marketing Division and creative agencies/vendors

Learning outcomes and other experiences available as part of the internship:
• Exposure to our large network of EDB employees to understand business perspectives and learn how they can be translated through hands-on experience in the creation and curation of engaging content, i.e. copywriting, graphics, videos.
• Gain insights into how our employer branding efforts fit within HR’s overall initiatives through regular teamwork opportunities that would allow you to develop skills in time management, organisation, and effective communication.
• Depending on the tasks assigned, there will be opportunities to do data analysis work related to employer branding efforts, such as the performance tracking of campaigns and/or monitoring social media engagement, and developing strategies to increase subscription numbers as well as increase effectiveness for talent programmes.

• Singaporean/Singaporean PR
• Background in Mass Communication or Design would be preferred but not necessary
• Available for a 6-month full-time internship from from July 2024 onwards
