The School of Chemical and Life Sciences (CLS) offers a wide range of PET (Pre-Employment Training) and CET (Continuing Education and Training) courses to train technologists in deepening their existing knowledge and skills. Adjunct Lecturer (Carbon Management/Sustainability Reporting/Lifecycle Assessment/Energy Efficiency/Circularity) - Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

[What you will be working on]
 

Responsibilities:-

  • Facilitate trainings for adult learners.

  • Conduct formative and/or summative assessments

  • Develop training and assessment materials including e-learning for adult learners

  • Support administration related to training and assessment as well as conform to the institution’s rules and procedures governing CET

  • Involve in consultancy projects related to sustainability

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in one or more area(s) below:

    a)    Greenhouse Gas Inventory/Carbon Management

    b)    Sustainability Reporting

    c)    Sustainability Assessment

    d)    Lifecycle Assessment and Costing

    e)    Energy Efficiency and Technologies

    f)      Circularity

    g)    Energy Efficiency

  • Passionate in learning and possess strong desire to engage adult learners

  • People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

  • Self-directed and independent with analytical skills

  • Technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel.

  • Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science/Technology & Management; Sciences and/or Engineering
