About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Adjunct Lecturer to join our team at Careers@Gov. As an Adjunct Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various areas of Information Technology, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Software Development, and Game Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Conduct lessons and carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the teaching role in full-time and part-time course offerings.
  • Course Development: Design, develop, maintain, and review course materials and curriculum to ensure assessments are aligned with learning objectives and industry standards.
  • Student Guidance: Offer guidance and feedback to students regarding the course content and all assignments.
  • Assessment and Record-Keeping: Conduct assessments, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with the teaching team as needed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the polytechnic's policies and procedures related to teaching and academic conduct.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Networking, Game Development or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant industry experience preferably in the above-mentioned ICT fields.
  • Skills: Familiar with the latest industry-relevant tools in the above-mentioned ICT fields. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and multi-task effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: Possesses passion and genuine interest in sharing knowledge and interacting with youths and adult learners. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
