You will be responsible for leading and managing the Building Management(BM) and Security & Events(SE) team, overseeing tasks such as housekeeping, landscape maintenance, pest control, waste disposal, and building maintenance. They enhance management performance, identify and implement work requests, and ensure regulatory compliance. They manage security systems, outsourced security services, AV equipment, and car park operations, while supporting major events and external agency collaborations. They also guide and mentor team members and strategically plan for the team’s future readiness.

[What you will be working on]

  • Lead and manage the BM and SE team in:
  • Housekeeping, Landscape maintenance, Pest Control, Waste Disposal, Building maintenance throughout the campus
  • Improving on their management and performance outcome to service breakdown, service request, service recovery and preventive maintenance.
  • Providing identification, suggestion and implementation of addition & alternation work requests assigned to the team.
  • Ensuring regulatory requirements from government agencies and statutory boards are complied with.
  • Involve in operation, maintenance, upgrades & other services related to security systems such as CCTV System, Access Control System.
  • Overseeing and managing the outsourced security services to provide safety and security to the occupants of the campus.
  • Involve in the operation, maintenance and upgrading of Audio Visual equipment at major event venues.
  • Managing the car park through outsourced car park management vendor.
  • Providing support and ensure smooth execution of major events such as Open House, Graduation, Ministerial visits and other big scale external events etc
  • Providing support to external agencies and authorities such as SPF, SCDF, MHA etc. in regards to safety and security matters.
  • Ensuring regulatory requirements from government agencies and statutory boards are complied with.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and motivation to Team members.
  • Plan and strategize for the Team to be Future Ready.

[What we are looking for]

  • Have relevant degree and minimum 5 years of related work experience out of which 2 years are in leadership role.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Data analytic or relevant IT knowledge is a bonus.
  • Experienced in managing outsourced service providers.
  • Experienced in Security Management or Security Risk Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in environmental sustainability.
  • Advantageous to possess relevant qualifications such as FSM certification, PLRD license, other safety and security qualifications or equivalent.
