[What the role is]
1.Deliver on business management processes, such as performance measurement / scorecard-setting, and provide financial analysis, to achieve the Group’s philanthropic and engagement outcomes

[What you will be working on]

Develop, lead and drive workplan and budget

  • Develop and oversee the strategic workplan and financial planning process, including annual workplans & budget
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and across teams to gather necessary data and input for the development of financial plans and budgets
  • Monitor and analyse actual financial figures against budgeted and forecasted figures, identifying and addressing any variance in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement financial performance metrics and key performance individuals to measure and track progress towards goals
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management, the ComChest Committee and funders, highlighting key insights and recommendations

Manage and administer grants

  • Perform and oversee grants administration, which includes seeking approval, handling applications, processing payments, monitoring and reporting utilisation and coordinating annual audits. This includes ensuring adherence to grant policy and process integrity and managing process efficiency with focus on effective productivity. 

Other duties

  • Ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors / suppliers / partners etc)
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and work across team to implement solutions for enhanced service delivery and internal processes
  • Lead projects and assignments as and when needed

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, meticulous and proactive
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Adaptable, able to multitask

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in finance & corporate planning functions
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesise information and conceptualise ideas
  • Grant and operational management experience / knowledge
  • Knowledge of social service / fundraising landscape will be an added advantage

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of work experience in Financial / Budgeting and Corporate Planning roles

Public sector experience will be an added advantage
