Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Distributor
  • Position Title: Safety Coordinator (WSH)
  • Working Location: West – Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 8 am-5.30 pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to SGD4000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and/or review Risk Assessments and assist to identify and assess risks arising from the workplace.
  • Drive, coordinate, and implement all Workplace Safety and Health Initiatives.
  • Conduct Workplace Safety and Health audits and incident investigations.
  • Produce Site Workplace Safety and Health Reports on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meetings and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meeting and training.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the worksite and recommend reasonably practical control measures at the workplace.
  • Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
  • Attend site inspection with a regulatory officer during the audit.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

  • Min 2 years of relevant experience in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental field
  • Good knowledge of Government Regulations in the chemical industry
  • Familiar with OSH/ ISO documentation
