Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all finance and accounting functions including budgeting, accounting, auditing and financial reporting.
- Prepare, review and approve workflow for payments, contracts, promotions, etc.
- Periodic cash audit, investigating and resolve discrepancies relating to receivables.
- Review and advise and ensure compliance for all accounting entries.
- Monitor inventory, assets in restaurants and warehouses, assist in business operations management.
- Quarterly GST submission & finance related statutory declarations.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting and analysis of financial information, proposed & implement cost control measures.
- Prepare statutory financial accounts; P&L, Balance sheet review identifying and following up on areas of concern within the reconciliation.
- Liaising with external auditors on year-end audits and preparation of statutory reports.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of audited GTO report & XBRL reports.
- Liaise with corporate secretary to complete annual reporting and other corporate information updates.
- Handle corporate tax matters.
- Implementing accounting policies and internal control procedures and ensuring compliance.
- Prepare and present financial reports/ updates during departmental and management meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or ACCA/CA/CPA.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant working experiences, prefers background from F&B industry.
- Familiar with FRS, tax regulations, laws and any compliance requirements.
- Strong written and oral communications skills in Mandarin to liaise with international teams of Chinese speaking background.
- Ability to work with multicultural teams and groups internationally.
