Field Support Engineer

Singapore DCS SYNTHESIS PTE. LTD. Full time

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide On Site Sales Submission Chasing assistance at shopping malls around Singapore to DCS Data Operations Team.
  2. Technical Support & Deployment for In House POS Systems and Payment Terminals
  3. Perform Setup, Deployment, Training of Users and Technical Support for In House POS Systems & Payment Terminals (Both Remotely and On Site)
  4. Rotational manning of Support Hotlines will be part of the responsibility. Duty periods last for 1 week.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to Higher NITEC (relevant course) or Diploma in IT
  • Without formal qualifications, a background of working in technical IT roles will be required.
  • Basic Operation of Windows based systems and Networking (Routers & Switches) required as a foundation.
  • Operation of Android based systems and/or SQL Databases will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication, independent IT problem solving skills will be needed.
  • Contact with clients and Customers will be frequent.
  • Travel around Singapore will be necessary (Transport Allowance Provided)
