Application Manager Payment Technology Asean Branch Senior Associate

Morgan Chase Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Technology recognizes the strategic importance of Asia Pacific not only as a revenue generator but as a critical engine room for delivery of technology services across Markets, Investor Services and Banking. ASEAN (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines) is a key market within the region and the firm is hiring Application Manager of Payments Technology based in Singapore. The remit of the role comprises of the following -
Drive the delivery of critical technology projects and technology solution alongside supporting the existing technology landscape for the highly dynamic local business needsAct as the primary liaison between technology and the business. He/she will be helping manager as face-off between the Business (Sales, Product, Operations, and Client Services) and technology teams within JPMorgan to drive business tech solutions.Support day-to-day technology related matter for Payment business and key external partners (regulatory bodies, partner banks, and vendors). Assists Production Management team during non-office hours if help require from them.Oversee/execute projects delivery for expansion of business in ASEAN and manage escalations related to theseOwn local applications as local owner, support the availability and stability of the local/regional/global technology infrastructure.Minor application development work which mainly need to handle application installation provide by vendor or regulator.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, EngineeringAt least 5 years of proven technology experience managing complex client demand, driving technology solutions and meeting business and client expectations as an Application Owner.At least 5 years in Application Developer, Network knowledge and Infrastructure knowledge (Unix, Window, MQ, Web , SFTP, NDM, SSL, HSM, etc)Intermediate background knowledge in banking domain especially in Banking landscape. (High Value Payment, Low Value Payment, SWIFT, Real Time Payment, Collection, Cheque Clearing, Tax Payment, Partner Bank system, etc)Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies. Adaptable and able to multi-task, handling complex requirements.Strong experience in financial services, with a sound understanding of Banking and/or related businesses.Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operationsUnderstanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods, and ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology's alignmentProven Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team, locally, regionally, and globally.Prior experiences working with regulatorPrefers someone who is able to speak Indonesian Bahasa as the role will need to support the Indonesian marketJ.P.
