Iron Mountain's Professional Services division is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be involved in designing and developing content and records management applications, collaborating with customers on data architectures, integrating Iron Mountain platforms with customer systems, and other key engineering tasks. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to translate design concepts into functional solutions, leading implementation efforts, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to gather and understand requirements across various aspects such as data, security, integration, and performance
  • Code daily to implement these requirements and user stories
  • Foster teamwork, communicate the client's vision, and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to refine and implement solutions with creativity and discipline
  • Identify and address risks associated with engineering and implementation processes
  • Contribute an engineering perspective to project planning
  • Assist in troubleshooting major implementation issues
  • Utilize design thinking to guide solution development
  • Provide feedback on customer needs to product management and engineering teams
  • Stay updated on industry technologies and practices
  • Maintain expertise in system integrations, programming languages, and cloud technologies
  • Support and embody Iron Mountain's core values

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering and delivery, preferably in client-facing roles
  • Proficiency in designing complex enterprise applications
  • Experience with agile methodologies and public cloud platforms
  • Business and Engineering fluency in English
  • Industry experience in sectors such as finance, healthcare, engineering, public sector, consumer products, and media
  • Strong technical skills in various technologies and languages
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions, Machine Learning, AI techniques, and content management platforms
  • Ability to create technical drawings and understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience with low-code platforms and SaaS engineering
  • Knowledge of BPM Solutions and relevant certifications
