Job Objectives

Digital Operation (SDO) is in charge of delivering software solutions in collaboration with IM and other involved domains, from experimentation to industrialization, including evolutive and corrective maintenance. Methodology is evolving from a traditional V cycle and single agile teams to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to be able to scale up to large development teams.

The Digital Solution Engineer works on the big data collected from the aircrafts per flight from various Airlines and other sources (including new technologies for new data acquisition). Using the data exploration / manipulation and visualization techniques, the Digital Solution Engineer provides deep insights into the data, by developing algorithms utilized by various Innovation projects.

Job Responsibilities Developing, Testing, Documenting, Publishing, Supporting and operating proof-of-concept and integrating with existing solutions and 3rd party libraries and applications Contribute to the design of the application providing creative and cost-effective solutions Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional testing, security testing, load and performance testing Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications across all environments from Development and Production Validating deliveries from sub-contractors and reporting to Digital Solution Leader on the progress and quality of delivery Actively provide timely and regular updates to Digital Solution Leader for reporting of progress of projects Interface with development teams in Toulouse and Bangalore when a project is progressing beyond Minimal Viable Concept (MVC) to Minimum Viable Product (MVP)and industrialization. Close collaboration with Customer Engagement & Program Management (CEPM) and Innovation teams to validate and deliver solutions\' business objectives and values Conduct activities autonomously and always act in full compliance with Airbus ethics and compliance, data governance and cybersecurity policies This job requires the constant awareness of the compliance risks we face in day-to-day responsibilities. Job Requirements Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 3-5 years of development experience Strong coding abilities using JAVA and related frameworks Experience in rich web application development with React, Javascript, HTML5. Experience of server-side development, database design (SQL and NoSQL) Proven track record as software developer acting across the entire development lifecycle Experience in designing and implementing APIs, RESTful Web-services and SOAP-based Web-services Strong experience in test automation and test-driven development methods Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects DevOps orientation, knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the following products/tools: Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, VersionOne, Splunk, ElasticSearch, Ansible, etc. Knowledge with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) is a plus: building and deploying cloud solutions (AWS preferred) Knowledge of Aircraft systems would be a plus Test automation knowledge (XUnit, Jira Xray, Postman, Cucumber, Selenium) Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based data-objects, and data transformation pipelines. Strong knowledge on Python, PySpark, PySQL, Java Script. Expert knowledge of Integration concepts, patterns and design. Expertise in data analysis methodologies and processes and their linkages to other processes e.g. dimensional modeling. Good SQL Skills. Experience with integration efforts (packaged and customized applications) from a data analysis perspective Strong business analyst skills, able to work with many different stakeholders to elicit and document requirements Proficient with Skywise platform and tools e.g. Contour, Code-Workbook, Code- Authoring, Slate and Ontology definitions preferred Knowledge of airline and MRO operations. Able to commit to a 12 months contract period -
