RESPONSIBILITIES
NE Digital is currently hiring for a Senior Software Engineer (Android) to join the FairPriceGroup.At FairPrice, we are continuously improving the way people buy their groceries online. As aSenior Software Engineer (Android) of the Browsing team, you will bring your expertise and knowledge to help build and improve the user experience & engagement for our online groceries platform.Alongside the product manager, UX designer & business owner, you will help scope and brainstorm new product requirements to deliver the best product experience to our customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean codeGather specific requirements and suggest solutionsWrite unit and UI tests to identify malfunctionsTroubleshoot and debug to optimize performanceDesign interfaces to improve user experienceLiaise with the Product development team to plan new featuresEnsure new and legacy applications meet quality standardsResearch and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocolsStay up-to-date with new technology trends
QUALIFICATIONS
Min 3-4 years experience in developing Android mobile applicationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant fieldProven work experience as a Mobile developerPortfolio of released applications on the Play storeKnowledge of programming language, KotlinContinuous Integration with a build system like GradleContinuous Deployment directly on Google Play StoreExperienced with third-party libraries and APIsExperience with agile development methodologiesWrote unit tests as a software engineer
