  • Train and guide Applications & Proposals Engineers, Project Managers and all other systems functions on customer requirements to deliver the best customer experience
  • Preparation of accurate detailed technical and commercial proposals by interpreting clients requirements as described in enquiry requisition and project specifications, sizing the required equipment by undertaking process, thermal and mechanical designs, commenting on client's commercial and technical specifications with deviations being listed and comments made as appropriate, completing preliminary production schedules, data sheets, typical procedures and other bid documents and supporting the preparation of tender drawings as appropriate.
  • Engage and collaborate with the local customer center to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business requirements and objectives for potential local systemization projects.
  • Provide focus, guidance and support to regional sales managers and their sales team and to distributor partners to motivate them in the development, growth, and implementation of agreed strategies for the division in the Systems + Solutions markets
  • Support and lead proper contracts and risk management
  • Active sales management of CEP inquiries, projects and products
  • Lead "go or no go" decisions on projects. Lead and coordinate peer review of Process Vacuum systems proposals where required.
  • Active promotion of existing and future Systems+Solutions in close collaboration of the Marketing and Sales organization. Develop growth strategy in collaboration with Marketing/Sales/System teams
  • Support the systems operations teams in the order execution and training where required
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in alignment with the Customer Center team that promote all industrial vacuum products & systems in Process Vacuum markets to build and reinforce target market share and profitability
  • Support all relevant sales channels, direct and indirect, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market with a strong focus on overall market share and profitability of the Industrial division.
  • Market, technology and competitor monitoring as well as networking (trade shows, conferences, seminars, )
  • Generate sales support materials, e.g. brochures, catalogues, presentations, internet presence, selling stories
  • Up to of 50% travel may be required (mainly regional)

Job Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor/Masters) in an related engineering/science discipline or related industry experience
  • Resultoriented and experienced professional (10+ years) with proven senior experience in PROCESS VACUUM vacuum systems, engineering and technology
  • Related commercial and/or business development experience advantageous
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Knowledge of dry Pump sizing tools, Knowledge in SAP, BW, BPC advantageous
  • Excellent command of English in both writing and speaking, other languages advantageous
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with the management and employees at all levels. Must possess strong communication capabilities and the ability to empower the members within the team.
