Partner Sales Manager Japan

Role Description

Partner Sales Manager (PSM) in Japan will be responsible for driving the business expansion of Dropbox by working closely with strategic partners. This role is vital in the ongoing transition of Dropbox's business model to a "channel first" approach. The PSM will play a key role in developing strong relationships with partners, maximizing sales opportunities, increasing retention rates, and ensuring overall business growth. The position also involves collaborating with global peers to share insights and enhance the company's global business strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver on a specific revenue quota
  • Develop and manage the Partner plan for partners
  • Identify key stakeholders within partner organizations
  • Facilitate Partner engagement to train sales teams
  • Lead Partner marketing campaigns
  • Establish relationships with Distributor personnel
  • Work on account mapping and opportunity management
  • Drive structured renewal processes
  • Engage with wider Dropbox teams
  • Maintain relationships at all levels within the company
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and be an ambassador for Dropbox
  • Understand Dropbox products and roadmap
Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT industry experience
  • 3+ years of channel partnership experience
  • 2+ years of business experience requiring global collaboration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset towards partner relationships
  • Fluent in Japanese and advanced English
This role can be based in Singapore, Sydney, or Japan.
