  • Assist the Banquet Operations Manager in overseeing the daily administration and operations requirements.
  • Attend the daily briefing conducted by the F&B Manager in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager.
  • Supervise staff/parttimers and provide necessary training for all staff.
  • Coordinate, organise and plan upcoming Banquet functions from staffing arrangement, audio/visual equipment, sound system, furniture, linen, guest supplies, setup to billing.
  • Rectify defects in Function Rooms, public area or equipment through the followup of Maintenance Work Order.
  • Check and ensure the equipment set up is clean and in good working condition. This also applies to lighting and airconditioning.
  • Check signages for the entrance of Function Rooms, between guest lifts and hotel lobby, and also put up Chinese signage, if necessary.
  • Handle complaints and feedback by guests or organizers and take immediate action to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Responsible for opening bills and presenting bill settlements to organizers after functions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Public Relations or any related fields
  • Have prior experience in Food & Beverage establishments
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Possess critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Independent individual with a positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work shifts
