This position is based in Singapore Corporate Office.

POSITION OVERVIEW


Based in our Corporate Office in Singapore, this exciting HR leadership opportunity plays a key role in driving Aman's HR strategy including talent attraction, talent development, and fostering a positive culture across properties and corporate offices in the dynamic market of Asia.


  • With a strong emphasis on hotel preopening activities, you will play an active role in expanding our portfolio of properties in Asia. Your exceptional leadership skills will enable you to navigate complex structures, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure compliance. Be the driving force behind HR success in Asia and make a lasting impact on our brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee all human resources activities within the Asia region covering both Corporate offices and hotels, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and Aman's standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, policies, and procedures to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of HR to align regional HR strategies with overall organizational goals and objectives, taking into account the unique cultural and market dynamics of the region.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the local HR teams, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular assessments of HR practices, metrics, and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions that enhance the employee experience.
  • Develop and oversee performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, talent development plans, and succession planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering a culture of equality, belonging, and cultural sensitivity.


  • Lead preopening activities for new properties within the region, including talent acquisition, training, and the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Navigate and thrive in a complex organizational structure, building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from executives to frontline employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in HR management within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably with preopening experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in Corporate or Regional HR function required.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region and internationally as required to collaborate with global teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR teams and driving HR strategies that align with business objectives in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, HR analytics, and preopening activities.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and financial objectives.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fastpaced and evolving luxury hospitality environment.
