Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Write training content, 1pagers, infographics and posts for various media channels
  • Write internal and external facing blog that is readable by nontechnical people, globally
  • Write security alerts, threats and related best practices
  • Write social media posts with a focus on educating as well as entertainment
  • Create content for videos, infographics, and other visual aids to support creating a culture of security
  • Task management of various ongoing and backlog of projects, so that all stakeholders have visibility on timelines.
  • Collaborate on translating content for multiple languages to support Equinix's global employees
  • Manage the documentation review process and incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review, take ownership, clean up and enhance existing technical documentation

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of experience working as a technical writer in a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology, proven record of publicfacing technical documentation
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of tools for content editing, versioning, web content publishing, and offline (such as PDF) publishing
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field
  • English is the preferred language
  • Ability to work effectively with partners in different cultures and geographies
