Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

1. To start up a new bistro setting and form a kitchen team to produce high-standard food

2. To ensure that the cleaning schedule is adhered

3. To ensure that kitchen stores and other potential areas of loss are secured at all times

4. To manage food costs and staff resources to achieve targeted budgets

5. To report and where possible take action about customer complaints and compliments

6. To undertake project work & training to develop skills in food production, management & enhancing customer service

7. To take responsibility for the adherence & compliance of all health, safety and food hygiene legislation

8. To report and, where possible, to attend to and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise, in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and complete the necessary reports

9. Handle and implement waste controls as well as manage stock ordering

Job Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of proven experience with Thai cuisine in a related role

2. Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management

3. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

4. Outstanding communication and leadership skills

5. Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

6. Good understanding of F&B technology (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS etc.)

7. Educational qualifications from a recognized culinary institution are preferred
