Job description:

A Chartered Accountant in-charge all aspects of admin and accounting, full set of accounts for Group and subsidiaries.

The Accountant is responsible for daily activities of accounting to ensure the function of finance is organized and filings are well kept.

She has to provide accurate financial statements and management accounts monthly to accomplish compliance with corporate policies and statutory reports requirements.


Accountant involves a leading role to work with a team of finance, admin, purchasing and sales to compliant with good internal control; liaison with external auditors, bankers and regulators.

Accountant must keep updated with the changing of statutory FRS requirements and tax laws to determine the implications of such changes to internal financial reporting.


Accountant analyse data to understand the financial performance and position of the Organisation, develop internal control that suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements.

Produce a special reports may require by the management. Accountant may also work with the other department leaders help to define the Organisation's overall internal finance strategy.

a) Prepare monthly financial statement of reports

b) Maintain monthly approval of journal entries

c) Planning for annual financial audit schedules

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily activities of admin accounting and filing system to ensure all finance functions are well organised
  • Calculate taxable income and the income tax liabilities of the organisation
  • Calculate cost for different type of activities and cost of controls for each departments
  • Check to compile accurate tax-related information for the organisation
  • Compute the valuation of business and financial assets using different models
  • Extract data and provide analysis for management
  • Implement policies and procedures with emphasis of SOP for internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors
  • Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables, budget and forecast activities to help the organisation determine the working capitals and fund strategies
  • Prepare asset, liability, prepayment, accrue accounting entries etc
  • Prepare financial statements and disclosure notes
  • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit processes
  • Reconcile accounting book, tax and financial reports to the relevant authorities
  • Response and resolve issues and deficiencies on variances and audit findings
