About the role:

  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling warehousing and transportation functions of the company.
  • Responsible for customer audit and complaint relating to purchasing and logistics operation.
  • Manage 3rd party logistics warehouse operation, logistics suppliers and warranty surveyors.
  • Plan and procure assigned materials to support operations.
  • Manage Warehouse Receptions, monitor and expedite delivery schedule when necessary.
  • Work closely with Purchase staff to communicate schedules, schedule changes and to make any necessary rescheduling requested by end users.
  • Liaise with suppliers on quality, shipping documentation, and booking of local transportation for Inbound/Outbound via sea/air freight.
  • Handling daily purchasing and warehousing operation to ensure that end user delivery schedules are met so as to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Implement effective supply chain practices, inventory management with demand variability, cost reduction and lead time reduction.
  • Implement the company's best practices safety guidelines for sale handling / loading / unloading and lashing of equipment.
