What you will do


• Be responsible for Regional Distribution Hub (RDH) operational and planning activities


• Ensure supply demonstrating service level agreements and adhere to a cost-effective distribution strategy for South East Asia (SEA) markets


• Distribution Requirements Planning for SEA markets


• Implement with a strong focus on cold chain management and timely and correct transportation of Amgen shipments across countries in scope


• Establish and maintain an external and internal network enabling Global Distribution to advance on priorities and key initiatives.


• Document and maintain procedures relating to cold chain for the effective transportation of Amgen products from source to customer.


• Apply Continuous improvement principles while designing, implementing and sustaining distribution solutions with focus on controlled temperature distribution


• Lead cross-functional implementation of RDH adhering to key breakthroughs and timelines


• Ensure compliant supply and meet service levels and KPIs


• Develop supply and capacity plans for RDH in short/mid/long term reflected in standard processes such as the monthly planning cycle and the long-range scenario planning


• Develop and manage budget for RDH operation and outbound distribution while meeting productivity targets


• Implement RDH operational tasks – importation, good receiving, inventory management, order management, exportation


• Plan, build and manage distribution lanes for the region under management


• Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, critical issues, reporting and improvements.


• Support internal team members in advancing issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on appropriate management level.


• Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.


• Showcase continuous improvement approach to identify savings and other efficiency opportunities and get results to finish line while improving quality, performance, and GDP compliance.


• Assess implications of emerging trends or country legislation changes that may affect current distribution solution and cold chain practices

What we expect of you

Qualifications


• Doctorate degree equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management or Industrial Engineering OR


• Master's degree equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management or Industrial Engineering and 2 years of directly related experience OR


• Bachelor's degree equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management or Industrial Engineering and 4 years of directly related experience OR


• Diploma and 8 years of directly related experience


• 5+ years' experience in the logistics industry, in a role of supplier management


• Supply chain, planning, cold chain and warehousing expertise


• Solid experience in project management across departments and geographies


• Experience managing suppliers and improving processes


• Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing


• Strong analytical skills (incl. MS Excel) and ability to distill insights


• Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams


• Natural relationship builder in which employer's interests prevail


• Result focused and proven ability to deliver results


• Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence


• Strong relational, negotiating and persuasion skills


• Problem solver with high sense of responsibility


• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)


• Oversee processes beyond own department


• Open to occasional business travel


• GMP and GDP knowledge


• Experience managing direct staff


• Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, six sigma, FMEA.


• Experience in SAP and RapidResponse


• Experience setting up service level agreements


• Good technical writing skills
