CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, along with 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Day-to-Day Operations

• Supervises and manages employees, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining service and sanitation standards.

• Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.

Leading Food and Beverage Team

• Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage team members, advocates sound financial decisions, and fosters a culture of trust and cooperation.

• Acts as a role model, identifies developmental needs, and ensures employee productivity and compliance with policies and regulations.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Delivers services exceeding customer expectations, improves service quality, and fosters a positive atmosphere for guest relations.

• Empowers employees to provide outstanding customer service, handles guest issues, and incorporates guest feedback for continuous improvement.

Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities

• Provides guidance, sets performance standards, identifies educational needs, and ensures fair treatment and ongoing training for employees.

• Encourages feedback, strives for service excellence, and fosters employee recognition.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintains Excellent Communication, analyzes information, assists during high demand times, recognizes quality products, and supervises daily operations accordingly.

• Oversees financial aspects such as purchasing and invoice payments in the absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager.
