Supply Chain Tender Coordinator

Subsea 7 is looking for a talented
Supply Chain (SCM) Tender Coordinator whom will provide assistance to the Category, Commodities and Tender team to prepare the SCM package starting from the Request for Quotation process to issuing Purchase Order.


The SCM Tender Support will need to prepare / assist in preparing the SCM Tender Report and ensure SCM packages are transmitted and acknowledged by the Vendors.

Quotations are submitted, clarifications are performed and closed out both internal and external parties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend the SCM Kick Off Meeting lead by the SCM Tender Lead.
  • Define together with the SCM Manager on which packages to support for the ongoing or upcoming Tenders.
  • Maintain the SCM Tender Report up to date.
  • Issue ITT to approved Bidders based on requisitions "Approved for Enquiry".

Manage the interface with Engineering & other departments for tendering by:

  • Transmitting all Suppliers technical qualifications to Engineering & other department
  • Organising meeting with Engineering for technical qualifications review
  • Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids, and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering. Finalise the bid summary and make recommendations to the Tender Project Manager for technically acceptable solutions.
  • Identify clearly Supplier prices validity, allowances and risks
Ensure follow up of this SCM package validity, allowances and risks. Raise alert when necessary. This until final award or final rejection of

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience in Issuing Request for Quotation and SCM packages / Tender activities
  • Degree in a relevant discipline Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience working within the subsea offshore or related industry, some of which must be in a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist;
  • Strong knowledge of vendors and a successful track record of Purchase Order negotiation will be highly regarded.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Creative problem solving able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
  • Sound communication skills able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision
  • The ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously
