Position: Android Engineer

We're looking for a seasoned Android Engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to the development and improvement of our mobile e-commerce platform. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our development and design squads to craft inventive and user-centric functionalities for our Android application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement fresh features for our Android application, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user journey.
  • Cooperate with diverse teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver novel features.
  • Craft code that is tidy, effective, and sustainable, adhering to industry best practices and coding norms.
  • Review code rigorously and offer constructive input to elevate code quality.
  • Enhance app performance and address any arising issues effectively.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Android development trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Enhance the app's user interface and experience continually, leveraging user feedback and analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure comprehensive testing and a bug-free release.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall product.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Over 3 years of expertise in Android development, demonstrated through a robust portfolio of apps available on the Google Play Store.
  • Skillful in both Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Proficiency in employing Android SDK, Android Studio, as well as third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Acquainted with Agile development practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for crafting top-notch, user-centric mobile applications.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or retail applications.
  • Understanding of cross-platform development tools like React Native or Flutter.
  • Knowledge of Firebase or similar cloud-based services.
  • Previous exposure to automated testing frameworks.
