DESIGNATION : Senior Android Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
NE Digital is currently hiring a Native Mobile (Android) to join FairPrice GroupAt FairPrice, we are continuously improving the way people buy their groceries. At FairPrice you will be a member of the Retail Tech team providing solutions to FairPrice Retail Business. Being a member of the Store Tech Innovations Team, you will be responsible for providing solutions using Native Mobile Apps & Full Stack Development in Cloud Foundry. You will be actively involved in development of Store Native Apps with offline/online capabilities and improving its appeal to Store Users.You will be reporting to Head of Store Application Development Team. You will be closely working with multiple FairPrice Business Streams to deliver solutions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, Build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable applicationsTranslate designs and wireframes into high quality codeBuild performant, high quality and responsive applications (Native and/or Hybrid & Browser based)Design and build scalable applications able to handle high loadActively participate in team discussions when solving problems or designing new applicationsDevelop and deliver agile and cost-effective solutionsAttend technical / architecture design review meetings and help design high performance, scalable, reliable and secure enterprise solutionsExcellent team player with strong technical and analytical skill setsGood communication and interpersonal skillsIdentify and fix bottlenecks and bugs on our Android ApplicationsMonitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code levelCollaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new featuresBe able to work on multiple projects / initiatives in parallel and to deliver on tight schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requirements4 years > of experience in Android Native Mobile Development & Full Stack Development.Prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDKProven work experience in Design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVPExperience in MDM & MAM technologies and ability to guide on the right architecture and roadmap for monitoring, securing, managing & supporting mobile devices distributed across mobile enterprises.Experience in Android programming language (Java Eclipse/ADT)Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAXProficiency in MySQL, SQLiteFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applicationsSolid understanding of Spring, Git and GitHub, Jenkins, NodeJS, REST, SOAP, ODATAStrong Communication skills, able to gather requirements and provide effective technical solutionsUnderstanding of SAP Business Technology Platform – Cloud Foundry setup is an added advantage.Strong technical background and deep knowledge in software development and architecture, microservices and event driven architecture
