AWS Global Sales (Public Sector) seeks an experienced Account Manager focused on National Security and Defence in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales track record with a customer-centric approach. They should be able to develop and execute a territory coverage plan, consistently meet revenue targets, and engage effectively at both the business leader and technical levels. The Account Manager must possess analytical thinking, IT sales experience, and a comprehensive understanding of the sales process.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Strategically manage multiple accounts.
  • Create and communicate compelling value propositions for AWS services in the Public Sector, especially in National Security and Defence.
  • Analyze sales data to refine strategies.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Collaborate with partners to enhance sales efforts, coach resources, and drive adoption.
  • Help customers identify use cases for Amazon Web Services adoption and best practices implementation.
  • Establish long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales programs and tools to enhance performance in the territory.

Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years in direct sales or business development within software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives.
  • Over 10 years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years in building profitable partner ecosystems.
  • Experience in developing detailed go-to-market plans.
