As a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Assistant, you'll be in charge of aiding in the implementation and upkeep of the QHSE management systems. Working closely with the QHSE team to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards is key. This role plays a crucial part in our company, contributing to nurturing a culture centered on safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Aid in the development and execution of QHSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to pinpoint potential hazards and non-compliance.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, proposing preventive measures.
- Maintain and keep QHSE documentation and records up to date.
- Support QHSE training initiatives for staff.
- Contribute to risk assessments and the implementation of control measures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure QHSE requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a similar QHSE role is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of relevant QHSE regulations and standards.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
