**JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance (QA) Director setup the team, develop, implement and lead the vision and in formulating a world-class Quality Assurance (QA) strategy for the product delivery of our yet to be announced next generation integrated best-of-suite enterprise solutions.

You will be directly involved as part of the next generation core and work together with the Product Owners, Product Managers (PMs), UI/UX specialist, as well as Frontend and Backend Developers across a myriad of backgrounds and nationalities.


As the
Quality Assurance (QA) Director is the leader of the Quality Assurance division, you will need to develop the initial QA strategy and effectively communicate the strategy and processes both within the QA division and across the organisation.

The QA strategy is also expected to be kept up-to-date based on the evolving needs of the organisation and product maturity.

You will also be the main QA division point of contact, test engineering lead, role model and mentor for the entire QA team (local & overseas) both from an automated testing and manual testing perspective.

We are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and ownership driven individuals with a strong attention to details.

The
Quality Assurance (QA) Director is constantly challenged to balance business viability, technical feasibility, customer desire and time to market to ensure that the organisational ideas become winning products.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Product Owners and Product Managers to understand and stay insync to the organisation's vision of next generation integrated bestofsuite enterprise solutions.
  • Define and lead the vision, core strategy and core methodology for the organisation's Quality Assurance (QA) division and lead the continuous improvement of the software delivery process.
  • Effectively communicate the QA strategy, processes and needs across organisation, as well as within the QA team.
  • Champion high delivery and service standards in ensuring all products are methodically tested and issuefree at all gatekeeping points.
  • Drive automated testing initiatives where feasible in both functional and nonfunctional aspects.
  • Act as a supervisor, mentor and role model to the entire QA division with both local and overseas team members and support them in their trainings and career growth.
  • Stay uptodate with new technology trends, languages and techniques. Source, seek, hire and fill skills and experience gaps among the QA team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree of Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
  • Over 10+ years of related work experience in leading a team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals in enterprisescale turnkey projects and largescale customer facing systems, preferably in fastpaced tech, IT or gaming industry.
  • Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise test scenarios, test cases, along with indepth knowledge of product QA strategy and methodology.
  • Knowledgeable in automated testing setting up automated testing frameworks, pipelines, processes and familiar with various automated testing tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, Cucumber.
  • Proficient in Java and other programming languages which are commonly used in an automated testing environment.
  • Experienced practitioner in agile frameworks such as scrum, lean or extreme programming.
  • Willing to rollup one's sleeves and provide a handson help to the team.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead, convince and inspire team members in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong knowledge in software engineering, technology trends, technology constraints and software development lifecycle is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of design and architecture patterns for both backend and frontend is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to meet and work with offshore team members.
