Our client, a prominent multinational corporation, is seeking candidates for the Legal Specialist role.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer legal support for daily operations and assigned projects, including legal research, drafting contracts, proofreading, and managing contract execution
  • Provide training on Purchase Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements for sales teams in ASEAN and India to enhance their legal awareness
  • Proactively handle legal issues with firms, disputes, and regulatory matters affecting business in ASEAN and India
  • Conduct compliance training on anti-cartel, anti-corruption, and anti-fraud matters, and oversee the whistleblowing system
  • Manage whistleblowing reports and investigate employee misconduct
  • Review and update internal compliance rules
  • Stay informed on legal updates and provide information to affiliates in ASEAN and India
  • Support external audits related to legal matters
  • Enhance administrative efficiency
  • Address regulatory matters and interface with regulators and security control examinations
  • Provide guidance and training to junior legal staff

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in legal studies, international business, or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-7 years of legal experience in law firms or in-house legal and compliance roles
  • Experience in advising on intellectual property and information security
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong communication, presentation, and multitasking abilities
  • Independent, proactive, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel within the ASEAN and India regions
  • Excellent social etiquette, writing skills, attention to detail, and deadline management
