  • Scope the system: Work closely together with the Product Owner and other squad members, to ensure right granularity of requirements specification on an epic / story level.
  • Translate business needs: Create models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentations that support the target audience to understand the business requirements.
  • Facilitate communication at team level to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
  • Validate requirements, UAT Testing & User Training (if required): To validate e2e requirements via reviews, walkthroughs, and demo. Also, to play a key role in writing & conducting UAT test cases and, if required to train non-squad's stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks / issues that might affect squad's overall health.
  • Expertise in conceptual modelling, ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions and clear ability to provide concise, precise and managerial answers to a wide array of business-related topics.
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts and plan tasks.

Skills Requirement

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in functional analysis in area of Private Banking, Wealth Management; Knowledge and experience of banking business and its operations is a plus.
  • Strongly familiar with Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and effectively engage in discussions with senior management. In particular, demonstrated capability to collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Information Security teams (a good understanding of regulatory requirements is needed).
  • Experience in project management and knowledge about the entire application development life cycle (planning, budget, approval, sourcing, monitoring and implementation).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to independently develop and manage complex models. Very good command of MS Office suite is a must.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to manage a multi-faceted role with changing priorities and tasks that are complex, unpredictable and time sensitive.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of methodologies in applications development (e.g. Agile, waterfall).
  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM will be a plus.
  • A team player who continually collaborates and shares information.
